Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
The forms on our website use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to tell real people apart from automated spam. When you start filling in a form, reCAPTCHA collects information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and how you interact with the page, and sends it to Google. Google returns a score to us, which we use only to decide whether a submission is spam. Submissions flagged as likely spam are not passed to our team, but are kept in a private log so a genuine enquiry can still be recovered. Google processes this information under its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and may process it outside South Africa.
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal/contractual retention obligations)
- Object to the processing of your personal information
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa
